Leaf guard was already installed when we purchased the house. We noticed that part of our breeze way was getting wet when it rained.

I called up leaf guard and they sent out two guys to blow out the "system". Watching the guys "clean" out the gutters was a joke because there was nothing in them (I guess they hold up to that). The problem was when it rained nothing went into the actual gutter. I called a year later rather upset and in the end I got a letter from their lawyer saying not to call anyone (leaf guard) in the NJ, PA, DE area.

The original franchise was bought out, so the new guy didn't want to own up to the original warranty. We ended up going to Lowe's and having their pro's come out and installing seamless gutters then I went and installed some clip in plastic leaf covers.

So far no problems and it's been 6 months. I would recommend that you go to a place like Lowe's you can always talk to someone eye to eye.

Monetary Loss: $50000.

Location: Lansdale, Pennsylvania
