A few years back, I had leaf guard installed. This winter I was having a problem at the corner of the house where the downspout is. Water was splashing everywhere. I called leaf guard and they said they couldn't come for 2 weeks. I had rain coming into the drains of my...

In May of 2019, we met with a LeafGuard salesman. We signed a contract for $12,450.86. We asked our salesman to initial a change in the contract as the contract said there were to be 3 payments, and, we put 1/3 down ($4,160) with the final payment of $8,290 was due on...

Yikes, $12486.50 for gutters? They must be made of gold.

Remember: A fool and his $12486.50 are soon parted.

Wow. I'm in the wrong line of business.

Update by user Jun 27

leaf guard thinks we must be dead they are not going to do a thing for us unless we pay them for new gutters. they are just moving on to older people and get what they can.

just ask them about their warranty. what if they get a little hail damage and see what they say.

When I purchased the Leaf Gard Gutters on 7 May 18 - I specifically asked about the inside corners on the system. Kyle O'Dell, Project Consultant, told me if anything caused me problems, it would be taken care of. The inside corners are not like the gutters themselves...

I have had exactly the same problem with the inside corners. Leaf Guard’s claim that you never have to get on a ladder again is just not true.

If you have an inside corner, you always have to get up there and clean out the corner.

If you don’t, then water spills over and the concrete sidewalk below the corner will have to be power washed continually! Awful ....the high cost is not really worth it.

LeafGuard in Lyons, Illinois - Pounding hammering sound on gutter

Repeatedly called leafguard. Every time it rains, there's a loud consistent hammering sound on the gutters outside my bedroom window. It wakes me up and keeps me up every time it rains. Driving me crazy. Common problem with gutters that have elbows. Handyman.com shows many solutions. Can't understand why leafguard can't do one of them!! I'm a 60-year old woman, and about to throw up a ladder and try to fix it myself. Either that or call their sales dept. and pretend I'm a potential customer. Apparently, that's the only way they respond. Grrrrrrr

LeafGuard in Birmingham, Alabama - Trash lays on top and water spills over.

I had guards put in 2 weeks ago. Very expensive. Already pine needles and leaves are laying on top of the gutter covers making the water spill over the side like there are no gutters. The leaves don’t blow away. They build up and block the water from going into the gutter. Holes are too small on cover. Sediment like roof grit blocks them, I would like to get my money back but the contractor is like a gypsy. They sell you on it, do a terrible job installing it, bent my gutters, and then they are gone. Still have to clean gutters. Trash collects on top of the cover instead of in the gutter. Don’t buy Leaf Filter.

LeafGuard - Sales people don't listen

Told sales rep I just wanted a price on 36' of gutter...should be quick and easy...right? No!!! Insisted on putting together a proposal for the entire house. Told him I wasn't interested but he still insisted. An hour later I still didn't have a quote and had to tell him to leave my property. Stay away from this company.
