I would never purchase LeafGuard gutters again as they are poorly installed and are labor intensive to keep working properly. In the Pacific NW moss and algae grow in the gutters (not one of the "non-clog" reasons) which mean they have to be manually claened yearly.
This means getting on a ladder and scrubbing them out otherwise the water doesn't go in. If you have to climb the ladder yearly anyway, why not save the $8,000 more than from regular gutters and use it to pay someone to clean out the leaves. LeafGuard and Costco do not stand behind any of their stated warranties nor do Good Housekeeping or the Better Business Bureau when you try to get resolution through them. These LeafGuard gutters were improperly installed and the corner seams leak.
LeafGuard says this is the fault of the roof. Like saying the fork is the reason people get fat.
Monetary Loss: $10000.
